As you know, I went on a little vacation last week to SXSW interactive conference in Austin, TX. If you follow me on instagram, you probably have seen my pictures documenting it all.
Although I don’t have plans to really write down everything I experienced, I do want to tell you that I had an AMAZING time. I attended panels and speakers from all categories that ranged from advertising to non-profits to female bloggers.
The most interesting panels that I attended are listed below.
***The Lean Startup – This was all about experimentation and failure and starting small. If no one even clicks on the link, maybe you aren’t building something your target even wants.
***The Accidental Creative – How to stay creative and inspired every day
***Top Chef – Transmedia – With the addition on Last Chance Kitchen this year, they basically transformed a one hour show into a 7 day viewing experience. This was also my favorite because it was moderated by Andy Cohen from Bravo who is hilarious.
***Women in Digital – How women feel they have to present their best (and unrealistic) self on the web. This panel was amazing!! (And so true) I have much more to say about this one, but I will save that for a separate post.
***The Future of Lifestyle Media – Top Lifestyle bloggers talk about how the industry has evolved and how to be successful in a saturated market.
***Blogging, Why so many women are doing it – This was more of a Q and A with top fashion bloggers ( so fun)
It was a fun and fast filled week in Austin. I have come back inspired in every way and I can’t wait to share all of the changes Stacey Lynn Design has in store!
