I can’t believe how long it has taken me to post this one. I think a part of the delay is that I knew once I posted it, my journey with this wedding would be officially over. I began working with Carrie and Oliver about a year prior to their wedding date and we talked almost every single week over that year. We started with mood boards, picked colors, settled themes. I didn’t even have the opportunity to meet them in person until we met in Santa Barbara for the tasting at Bacara where we also worked through their rehearsal dinner options. I talked them through flower options, napkin folds, wine pairings and table design and even sourced their welcome bags. I have never been closer to a weddings intimate details than this one and was lucky enough to work with my favorite vendors in the industry. The entire day was classy, sweet and everything we had hoped for. I will miss the skype chats and in-person visits with Carrie and Oliver. Although they live in Seattle, we had the chance to get to know each other more than I get to with most of my local clients! This one was truly a labor of love and I hope you enjoy some of my favorite details of the day from the ridiculously talented Micah and Megan Photography below.
