At this weekend’s wedding, I got to see our friends at Shade Tree Films. It made me realize, it might be time to share my wedding video since it has been almost 2 years.
If you watch the video, you will get to see a bit of our loft in the beginning. That big van is not ours!!! It was borrowed for the wedding. Speaking of borrowed…my “borrowed” was my bridesmaid Lindsey’s jewelery she wore on her wedding day. My “blue” was one of my toenails I painted. My “old” was one of the crosses I was wearing around my neck from my grandma and my “new” was the other cross given to me by my husband on our wedding day.
We were married in Santa Barbara and as you can tell – we brought everything in. It was a pretty intimate fall wedding with a lot of personal touches. Some of my favorites below.
*We wrote our own vows and didn’t share them with each-other until the wedding day.
*My Uncle was our officiant
*Steve is wearing my Grandpa’s vintage cufflinks
* I have a vintage necklace from Steve’s side wrapped around my bouquet
*Every table was served different hand picked wine at dinner. Their table was named after the winery and everyone was encouraged to mix and mingle.
* Our dessert was filled with cupcakes from my favorite Enjoy Cupcakes and also homemade cookies from Steve’s Family
* At the rehearsal, you will notice a lot of Falling Whistles. They were the gift for the groomsmen.
*We had live music for every part of our wedding. I walked down the aisle to a Spanish guitar playing “What a Wonderful World”.
*It is still the best day of my life
