All the stars aligned for this one. The bride and groom were living in Chicago when they hired me, were in transition to move to Seattle, and were also planning on getting married in Los Angeles. They had chosen the Ebell of LA as their venue which I was familiar with and had worked at previously, so it was a perfect fit.
I was able to meet with Amanda and Dan multiple times while they were still in Chicago As I got to know them I created a few design boards until we had the perfect fit.
We mixed a little bit of geometric, with a little bit of midcentury, with a little bit of metallic, with a whole lotta class. Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from Dana Grant (who completely nailed it). Oh and my favorite part of the design? The custom made copper chuppah I had Peony and Plum create. It was jaw dropping.
